We may be bias, but we think New Orleans is a great place for a destination wedding! Since Leyna and Patrick came in from Texas, I’d say they probably agree! They started the day at the luxurious Hotel Monteleone in the French Quarter before heading to Jackson Square for their rooftop nuptials at The Jaxson! Leyna chose a light and fresh Spring color palette for her March wedding along with sophisticated black tuxedos for the guys. We especially love her Sarah Seven wedding gown and accessories!
For anyone curious when planning their own wedding, Leyna and Patrick had a 6:00pm ceremony in March the day before daylight savings time. We were fully equipped to handle their low lit ceremony and took plenty of daytime portraits of them before the ceremony during their first look. You can still see the glow of the city behind them throughout the ceremony! Peep the Steamboat Natchez boat in the corner behind them as they walk up the aisle! It sure is a beauty on the Mississippi River at night!
In a couple weeks, Brandon and I will be sharing a behind the scenes blog post on how we photograph all of our receptions, outdoor ceremonies, and more. Stay tuned!
Paid a little homage to Texas with some fun reception accessories! We sure do love our Texas couples!!
Huge thanks to all of the fabulous vendors who helped put this all together in only a few months! Leyna definitely hired some professionals and we’re happy to introduce them here! Reach out to us if you have questions about any of them!
