Emily and Chris were originally married on a rainy January afternoon in a beautiful Catholic Cathedral. They loved their custom wedding attire so much that they decided to fly out to sunny California for a Kestrel Park newlywed session that ended up being one for the books! Complete with vibrant garden walks, a vintage 1957 Porsche Speedster, and In-N-Out Burger; this may be out favorite session to date! California is already so naturally scenic that we really could have gone anywhere for our shoot. We collaborated on what they wanted their final look to be and landed on Kestrel Park in Santa Ynez, California. With 100 acres of sprawling gardens and hills, this popular estate has served as a wedding venue for many celebrities and couples around the world. We were so thankful to walk the grounds in person and capture this newlywed love!
If you’re looking for another opportunity to wear your wedding attire, email to inquire about our newlywed sessions! While we loved this Kestrel Park Newlywed Session, we’ll travel anywhere. This is great if you had less than ideal weather on your wedding day, weren’t able to fit portraits into the schedule, or just want to go to a fun bonus location! It’s so nice having extra options for hanging photos on your walls!! You can even bring your after party, rehearsal, or second reception dress as bonus! For the guys, we strongly recommend buying custom tailored tux or suit to begin with so they can look their best on the wedding day. With this, they can easily wear the suit again for newlywed pictures! No rental needed! Email us at peonyweddingphoto@gmail.com to get started!
