Four Seasons Wedding in Austin
Let’s just call them Lady Bird Lake Lovers! After meeting online and never really making the jump, Armen and Vida ran into each other (almost literally) while paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas near the Four Seasons Hotel. So it was only natural that when Armen proposed to Vida at their home, they would begin planning a wedding on the Four Season lawn. Talk about bringing it back to where it all started! Toby may have stolen the show a couple of times in his cute doggy tux. I don’t usually get all mushy, but this was a good one. A rare, uncomplicated day with two people who knew exactly what they wanted. Austin truly never disappoints us. We love going back to photograph all kinds of love such as this one!
We had to document the outdoor activities and dock that essentially landed them here! It was just too convenient!
Vida and Armen took portraits outside with Juliana and her assistant while Brandon photographed cocktail hour and reception details. In total, this took an hour. The couple was also able to greet all of their guests and grab a drink!
When Armen and Vida walked into their reception space, everyone was seated at their assigned spots. They thanked their guests for coming and announced the start of dinner service. We were able to grab a quick bite and prepare for reception festivities during this time which is SUPER helpful after running on adrenaline for 6-7 hours straight!
After dinner, several close family members participated in heartfelt and hilarious speeches. The couple cut the cake and toasted in the middle of the dance floor so that everyone could see before the cake table was whisked away by catering staff. Vida and Armen shared their first dance as a married couple followed by parent dances. Afterwards, the floor opened to all of their guests and what happened next was alllll party!
The couple shared a final private dance 10 minutes before midnight. Meanwhile their guests line up outside the ballroom to see them off! We love using this opportunity to steal quick hugs and say our goodbyes! After all, we just became best friends. OBVIOUSLY!
