New Orleans Museum of Art is an incredible venue outside of the French Quarter with an indoor ceremony option in case the weather goes South. It’s nice to have a venue with a quality rain plan, am I right?!
This Fall wedding had a modern, black and white aesthetic with inspiration from the art around the museum (peep those Marie Antoinette Envelope liners!!) and unique green lilies on the table scapes. Epitome of CLASS!!
With the modern look of the museum, the couple wanted to add a touch of their own personality to their wedding day. So they decided to have their dog, Samantha, be a part of their day. This little bundle of joy was incorporated by Paume Design Co. into their menus as “Lady With a Pearl Earring” by Johannes Vermeer.
Another great addition to this already memorable wedding, was Cubs the Poet to gather funny and heartfelt stories from guests to create a book of custom written poems for the couple to cherish forever. The New Orleans Museum of Art allows many outside vendors and this option was one of the best and unique ones we’ve seen!
This wedding is a testament to making the best out of an unexpected situation. Despite the weather, the couple had the best wedding day and truly enjoyed themselves. Which in turn, allows us to create the best art. You can say we were inspired by our surroundings 🙂 If you have never considered having your wedding at a museum, we hope this sparked a new vision! Please feel free to reach out on our website or Instagram to inquire.
