Linda and Bill had a Fairmont wedding in Austin, Texas with their close family and friends!
After meeting through friends a few years back, Bill and Linda became inseparable. We got to witness firsthand how much Bill loves Linda. When she moved, he moved. Linda adores Bill…even despite his corny dad jokes! These two found us online after sifting through dozens of photographers. Bill is a major techie and photography enthusiast so naturally he was in charge of finding a photographer. None fit, and Linda took over! Marriage is about compromise right? One of our images stood out to Linda and the rest was history! They started planning their Fairmont wedding in Austin, Texas and were happy to fly us out. Despite some pandemic reschedules, we were so excited to finally celebrate their wedding!
The Wedding Ceremony
We flew out to Austin for their engagement session right after I had Colin and then this year we photographed their Fall wedding at the Fairmont in Austin, Texas. This fun couple opted for a classic black and white color scheme with hints of blush. Their ceremony included only their close family and friends that led out to a gorgeous cocktail hour overlooking the Fairmont hotel pool and the Austin Skyline at sundown. We loved that Bill and Linda hired a planner to help ease their minds on the day of logistics while also giving us creative control to help their overall wedding experience! Add in some really amazing Austin vendors and family that was ready to party and I’d say it was truly the perfect day!
Having a downtown hotel wedding in Austin, Texas means venturing out to find clean greenery for portraits while the reception space is being set up!
The great thing about having a wedding at the Fairmont in Austin Texas is that you can have an indoor/outdoor event. Rain or shine, the overall design has a nice flow! The Palm Court was perfect for the end of the night sparkler exit! The best part is that all of their family could stay at the hotel without having to drive anywhere. Thinking of convenience for guests is just another way to create an amazing overall experience!
